I have a question for more experienced players. Is dodge and evade the same stat? if so could you hypothetically get to 100% dodge/evade and not get hit ever?
getting a larger gun feels really unfair as i can go hunderds of duds with the standard revolver, but one shot with a bigger revolver and i get a killing shot, and with how expensive they are, i only really see the need to get them at the final challange
I'm kinda late but, the large revolver helps for doing combo, you can put the minimum and with the perk of mana (the one that it cost 15 mana and tells you the next if is blank or bullet) you can keep pulling the triger until a bullet shows, then you do a roll and start again, if you get the one that add +2 of money each time is a blank space then you can get very rich in a short time. That's what i atleast did
(sorry for late response) for what i think, you have to spin the charger (where you put the bullets, idk how is the name in english), after that there are new items in the store until you do it again. said that i can go back to my previous message, a larger gun can make you produce money for a longer time with the combo i said, so you don't have to worry about losing a item you want from the store. hope this helps ya in the game
So it's based on the number of times the barrel spins? I always think when I reach 500 gold the shops resets, so if I see a good revolver in the begining of the game I can never get it...
The game was very difficult at first but once I figured out a reliable strategy I managed to get through the entire game without taking any damage. Really well made!

evade is the bullet hitting the helmet, dodge is the bullet completely missing you
I just have to comment here that the graphics are excellent! The colours, the pixel art, the font... did you share any asset by any chance?

Shop resets after every 3rd shoot.
shoot yourself like.. 3 or 4 times (in the game.....)

Awesome game! Very engrossing, and easy to get addicted to. Love the mix of genres, this is something I hadn't ever pictured. Great job.

this game is fun but man it hurts getting good items and upgrades and one unfortunate crit shot ends it all (btw how does the shop refreshing work)

what strategy was it? im stuck on the first few levels.
I don't want to spoil too much, because part of the fun is finding the strategy, but I'll give some hints
1: You don't need to worry about getting hit if you know where the bullet is
2: Spells are more useful than you think
3: The more empty slots there are, the less likely you are to get shot
I advise learning what all the spells do and seeing how they work
